When your kitten bites you, stop playing with him or her. Usually kittens bite because they think they're playing with you (just watch kittens playing with other kittens to see this) If you always stop playing after a bite, your kitten will learn that that is not acceptable play. You should also try playing with toys your kitten can bite.

I feel like almost all kittens are biters for those spirted weeks of youth. But if you play with your kitten when the biting occurs, simply end the playing session. The cat will eventual learn that fun ie playing includes not biting. Corrective measures can work on cats, but they have to be precisely targeted for the cat to understand.

Some people bap the kitten gently on the nose or use a squirt gun for training, but this is not necessary. They usually bite when they are scared, and by respecting your pets emotions, and not startling it, the problem should work itself out.
