Well, to be honest call the locksmith unless you can do the work yourself. Police in most places will no longer break into your car for legal reasons. Of course, you could always break in your own window if you don't care about it.

Do not try to force the key out of the hole. Take it to the dealership. They probably will have to remove and replace the core that contains the key slot.

Honestly....before you cause any damage...i wouls call a mechanic or someone you know that is meahcnically inclined. the last thing you want to do is break the key off inside the ignition. Then you'll be in a world of hurt.safer to call someone who has experience

My key got stuck in my car once but it was because I accidently didnt put the car into complete Park so the key wouldn't come out. Once I pushed the stick into Park it came out easy as pie.
