What should I do if my DVD component cables are getting no signal?

May be your DVD component cable is broken in between one end to another end. Check is your cable getting band or cut in any place? If yes then replace with new cable if still there is no signal after replacing new cable then there is problem with the DVD.

First you should check that the component cables are connected properly, at both ends between the the dvd player and the television or what ever you are trying to connect to the dvd player to. If that does not work you need get new component cables.

The cables may be broken, take them back to where ever you got them and see if a different set will work. If they don't then it may not be the cables.
