What should I do about my rabbit that appears sick.

I got a new rabbit, and I just think it is not acting right.

If you have suspicions it is a good idea to take it to a qualified exotics vet. A wellness check up for a new pet is a good idea anyway.

If the rabbit is sick allow the rabbit to be free in grass and give some fresh leaves, carrots and lawns to feed where it regains resistance power. Give some milk in a feeding bottle. The rabbit cage or home must be free from germs and bacterias. The scenario is worse take the rabbit to the doctor immediately.

It takes bunnies a little while to adapt to a new home. Give food that he's used to. If he's very ill, take him to a vet immediately.

That depends on how much you want to spend. Take it to the vet and your bill will be at least $60, and that`s if nothing is wrong. My suggestion is to keep it safe, fed and comfortable and see what happens. I love my pets, but I know that the vet loves my wallet too!
