You should monitor the lump: does it change size? color? You could take a photograph just to be sure. You should phone the doctor as soon as possible.

The first thing you should do with any unexplained injury to to get your baby to the doctors office immediately. If other serious symptoms present, take them to the ER.

Please take your baby to the hospital or call his/her pediatrician. The lump on the baby's head can be internal bleeding. A baby's head is very soft since their skull is not fully developed. Any injury to the head can lead to brain damage or even worst. Any bumps on the head should be checked out immediately.

Anytime your infant has a lump on his or her head you should consult with a doctor to make sure he or she has not hurt themselves.

Since this could be anything the best idea would be to check with a doctor and have it examined. It could be cancerous or it could just be some sort of cyst that is harmless. Either way this may be something that needs to removed in order so that it doesnt have to be worried with.

You need to have it checked by his pediatrician as soon as possible. While it may be something harmless (like a bug bite), it could also be something serious.
