When planning a shot gun wedding, the most things to keep in mind is making sure you have all the legal documents you need. Your wedding will not be valid without them. Make sure you have a person or two as a witness. Other than that, other stuff is fluff.

Besides the shotgun and shells, know the sentence for aggravated assault. Think more years in a capital punishment jurisdiction. Tough talk in the joint may lengthen your life; but to survive infatuation by that muscle-bound lifer, mumble without ceasing about lost HIV meds. This may discourage the next wedding.

It should be the same as if it wer enot a shotgun wedding. Have the best possible wedding you can in the short amount of time you have to plan it.

You should consider the way that both the bride and the groom feel about the shotgun wedding. You might also want to think about the family members and close friends that might be affected by your decision as well.

My cousin recently had a somewhat shotgun wedding. Their child is about 3 years old now and was the ring bearer. That was a poor decision. Do not make a child so young bear the ring. His kid was unable to sit still while wearing a tux.

Depends on which end of the gun you're on. If it's the trigger end - make sure it's loaded and if you're being "triggered", put on a bulletproof vest.
