Above all, consider the price/quality ratio. Cheapest is not always best, and most expensive is almost never best. It is worth it to buy a trustworthy brand name.

First you should consider the size speaker you want and wattage. then the wattage amplifier you want formula. (amps = or > speaker watt)Power of speaker equals to or less that power of amplifier else the amplifier will burn out. 1000 and above amplifier will require a more power full alternator or battery

You should always consider what kind of vehicle you are putting it in and what kind of power you need them to kick out. Pick the right size speaker to match both of those qualifications along with speakers that will look nice with the vehicle and you will be all set.

I would go with getting nice jbl speakers and don't spend too much money. Get what you like. Also, me, I always stay mid range.

If you are planning on keeping your truck for several years then go ahead and spend more as putting speakers in doesn't necessarily increase the value for resale. Consider the placement of the speakers, the room available for them and the sound quality you would be happy with.

It depends on what kind of speakers you are looking to get and what you want to get out of them. Look at the watts and amps. Go for bigger-brandnames

Compare what you'll spend to how long you'll own your car. Will you be able to bring your boss new woofers from your hooptie to your next fly ride?

You should consider how much you are willing to pay. A few tips when buying speakers is is be wary of deals that seem too good to be true at flea markets and always look at the magnet on the back. General rule, bigger the magnet better and louder the speaker will be.

Well, look at the size of the speakers. Also, look at the amount of amplification they will provide. look at the sound quality. That is also important for the truck.

A big thing to consider is the space you have. Make sure you don't buy speakers so big they don't fit! Another thing is make sure they have a good case to live in. Recently, someone broke my truck window and stole my new subs. Everyone wants them so be careful!
