What questions should I ask the back doctor?

I need questions for my back doctor.

that all depends on why you are going. if there is something specifically wrong, then ask as many questions as you can come up with that are related to your problem. such as, if you are going because you have pain, ask things such as: why does it hurt? what if the pain travels?

If he can take a xray of my spine and find out if my spine is okay. Any herniated discs or swelling. How are the nerves that go to the rest of my body. Do my hips and legs line up well. Am I loosing height. Do I have curve at the nape of my neck.

You can ask What is my diagnosis? What type of alternative therapies can I try? Will you put me on medications? Is surgery possibly in my future? What are my surgical options?

You should see what medications and or treatments you can take to ease your pain and provide comfort. Also ask what limitations you are under to avoid further injury if you are seeing the Doctor as a result of a back injury, this will also be important to relay to your employer.
