6. 78% of the worlds population is spanish with 42. 26% coming from South America, 34. 10% comming from North America, 9. 06% from central America. The other percents comes from Europe, Islands and Africa. Mexico and Colombia have the largest populations followed by the United States, Archentina and Spain. Spain is the only country to be 100% spanish speaking.

There are approximately 330 million people in the world that are spanish. Since the world population is over 6 billion persons the percentage would be about 5%. These numbers reflect spanish speaking people in the world, not all persons that are of spanish decent but don't speak spanish can be quantified.
