The best material for blinds hands down is A silk wrag tied in a knot, on that I like to add pledge. Works wonders

Aluminum is generally the best material for blinds to clean, you can lower the blinds, flatten it and use a damp cloth to wipe clean.

Wooden blinds are quite easy to clean with a dry cloth for quick dusting, or you can use a damp cloth if it's been a while !

I have found that vinyl blinds are the best to have. They are durable and don't attract too much dirt, but just needs a wet cloth to clean.
