The best loan option for you is a Veterans Loan. You don't need a down payment andthe interest rate is usually lower than market value.

A VA loan is for the expressed purpose of buying a home. A VA loan is not the answer for someone wishing to make another type of major purchase (car, boat) or to pay bills, etc.  add a comment

I suggest going to your local military federal credit union and asking them for their loan options. A personal loan through them is usually quick and easy. They can also discuss other loan options for you, depending on what you need the money for. Paperwork isn't as much of a hassle since you're in the military.

There are many federal loans available for active military duty. There are even loans available to the spouse, partner, or child of an active duty military person. To find which loan is right for you, do a basic internet search for active military duty loans and you will be surprised.

There are many loan options. For example you can get short term loans that the military offers to dissuade soldiers from using check cashing loans which have high interest rates. You can also get good rates on loans from banks if you are active duty. You should be able to get the small loan online.
