What kinds of illness would give you chills but no fever?

I feel awful, have chills, no fever.

It could be possible that the temperature is just too cool for you. But if it's a constant feeling, you should have your thyroid checked. You could also have a lung problem or an infection.

Hypoglycemia could give you chills but no fever. It is the result of having a blood sugar glucose level that is too low. Some of the symtoms are: cold sweat,trembling, malaise, headache and hunger. Additional indications are dizziness and decreased alertness. The condition can be treated with glucose injections to prevent complications or death.

I had the same kind of issue last year. Sometimes you can have a virus and no fever. You may have some kind of flu. Ask a doctor.

Vitamin deficiency, fatigue, stress, not eating enough or a pinched nerve are some possibilities. It could be any combination of these things. You may need to consult a doctor.
