I think the software must give numeric information to the manager. Example: In a manufacturing company; production,waste,working hours,employee numbers,machine numbers etc. must be collected as informative data to help evaluating the processes.This kind of softwares known as ERPs,many of us similiar to them.The executive or manager also must see feedback infos of his job.Such as customer complaints,returning good from stores.
