Giunea Pigs most commonly suffer from vitamin C deficiency. They cannot produce vitamin C on their own and have to get it from food sources. Make sure you only feed good specifically for guinea pigs to avoid this. They also can get upper respiratory conditions and colds.

Guinea pigs can get sick very easily. You must give them vitamins to ensure they do not catch common illnesses like colds, which they are very susceptible to. They also get mite infestations and must be treated immediately to prevent the mites from spreading and potentially killing them. They also can not be too cold or warm.
