What kind of personalities do mini Yorkies have?

Mini Yorkies have loyal, spunky personalities. They form strong bonds with their owners and families. They are playful, spontanious,and protective of the things they love. Being a terrior, they are very smart. They excel at learning tricks and pleasing their owners. Personalities very from dog to dog, but every yorkie I've met has possesed possitive traits.

They are very independent and loyal, they can be fiercely protective of their families, and are known to be rather territorial. Yorkies are also extremely alert and will bark at the slightest possibility of an intruder. They are charming and intelligent. However, because of their sharp minds, they can get bored quickly. They are very difficult to housetrain.

Yorkies are generally very intelligent dogs. They are very interactive with their owners. They tend to punish themselves when in trouble so there is no need for stick punishment. When they become excited or scared they tend to urinate occasionally.

While a breed of dog does have certain personality traits in common, each dog is an individual and will have characteristics that may have nothing to do with the breed they are. You need to observe the specific dog to see its temperament.

Mini Yorkies personalities depend on each dog individually but most have some common characteristics as well. Yorkies tend to be very inquisitive and nosy. They like to examine their surrounding and tend to not be in one place for long. Yorkies also can be barkers. If you live in an apartment this can disrupt your neighbors and cause complaints.

They are very active. Yorkshire terrier loves attention but should not show the soft temperament even id they look like cute and lovely. They have they own personality described as carriage very upright.

Miniature Yorkies are quite feisty and playful. They have sweet personalities although they can be hard to silence once they get worked up and begin barking.
