Mazola has a number of oils and sprays, olive, canola, corn and others. It is my experience that the most commonly used Mazola is corn oil. Their website thoroughly describes all their products- the uses and nutritional info associated with each one. You can ask the restaurant help to look at the container- it will at least say what type.

Mazola is a "brand" not a kind of cooking oil. Mazola has many different "kinds" of oil, including canola, vegetable, coconut, and peanut oil, just to name a few.

The label of the Mazola oil sold in my local supermarket, has the image of an ear of corn on it. The ingredient list specifies only corn oil.

Mazola usually refers to a brand of corn (maize) oil, but the Mazola people also use the brand on Canola oil and various blends of vegetable oil which are supposed to be healthier options than the "basic products". They also sell olive oil and cooking sprays using the trademark. Whatever, all vegetable oils, and no nuts.
