There are a lot of antibiotics out there for kidney infections. The Dr. will prescribe one based on your age, weight, and body health. Some of the medicines include amoxocilin, Augmentin, Ciproxin, and Ceptrin. They should be taken according to your doctors orders and follow up appointments should be scheduled to make sure they are working.

Depending on how bad the infection is, determines the type. Most common is Amoxicillian, but can also get the V-pack when more severe.
