If your TV appears green it may be to do with the cable you are using to pick up the TV signal from you TV aerial, this cable may have come loose or need replacing. This issue happens a lot with DVD and Video players when the SCART lead detaches slightly from the devise.

In television colors are made up of three primaries, red, green, and blue. If you are seeing only shades of pure green (no yellow, no cyan), then it sounds like your set is only showing the green component, impling that red and blue signals are either not being received, or not displayed. The most likely cause is a faulty cable.

may be your tv picture tub problem, else some magnetic items near your tv, so bring any magnetic item near your tv. first you take one magnet go to tv near, put the green near area then move the end of the tv, little bit the green was moved. try it..

One reason a tv screen might turn green is because there is a magnectic thing near it. If you have any magnets near the tv remove them from the area. Also speakers from a stereo too close to a tv might also cause the screen to turn green or purple which eventually will break the screen completely.

When the picture in the TV Screen turns green, then there is a problem in picture tube. Mostly the picture tube of the Televisiojn are affected by the fluctuations in the power and heavy lightening and thunder. We should unplug the Television when there is heavy rain Picture Tube is one of the main part of the Television.

This happened to me and I have a flat screen HD TV. The cable company put in cables that were green, purple and red. The colors purple did not match the blue outlet. When I switched the cable to green, blue and red the color on my tv was ok.

It may be because of two reasons. One,the picture tube of your Television set became too older as it is unable to process the pictures perfectly. Second,if you keep any other electronic devices besides you TV set picture tube will eventually becomes inactive and the pictures become greenish or reddish color.
