What is wrong if my engine stalls when accelerating?

The most likely problem is that your fuel pressure is low. Check your fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and fuel pump. If all of those are fine check to see if you have any vacuum leaks.

Either your engine is getting to much fuel and flooding out or there is too little fuel and the engine is dying.

There could be a number of reasons to cause your car to stall. Some could be due to low fuel pressure from a bad fuel pump or a bad sensor like the throttle position sensor.

It is possible that the problem may lie within a faulty throttle position sensor. Grab yourself some sort of digital ohm meter for automobiles, and check to see if there is a proper sweep as you blast the throttle forward and back. If the reading jumps, then this sensor won't be working properly.
