You probably have a yeast infection, which can be caused by a bacteria in most cases. You can get over-the-counter creams, or your doctor could possibly write a prescription after examining the area.

If you have a discharge that is not white, clear, or slightly brown before or after your period then I would go to a planned parenthood or just to the family doctor. If it is yellow or green, clumpy, or smells like cottage cheese you have an infection. But it couldn't hurt you to make sure that you are alright.

It could be any number of things, from a common yeast infection to a variety of sexually transmitted diseases. You need to see a doctor.

If you have these symptons you probably have a yeast infection. Yeast infection itches like crazy, and has a really bad discharge.
