What is wrong if a rabbit is breathing hard?

its really normal all rabbits do that. its cause they have a small heart and their always moving so they breath fast kinda like when we run and run out of breath

The rabbit could be hot or sick. Rabbits pant as a way to get rid of heat, this could be the reason for the hard breathing. Also, it could be a symptom of an illness.

This could be a sign of your rabbit having some king of respiratory illness like pneumonia or some other kind of lung infection.

It depends on what is meant by breathing hard. It could be that the rabbit is panting and it is just too warm where it's at. If it seems that his breathing is labored, then there could be something wrong. The rabbit could be sick, in which case you should take him to a vet.
