I assume you mean one that is full of water. The empty tank might weigh 8 pounds, and five gallons of water weighs 40 pounds. 48 pounds total.

I am assuming you mean with water. Since a gallon of water weighs approximately 8.35 pounds, the filled 5 gallon tank would weigh approximately 41.75 lbs.

"A pint a pounds, the world around." That being said, a pint of water is about 16 oz. A gallon of water weighs over 8 pounds, 8.34 lbs to be exact. Factor in gravel, decorations, etc. it's about 10 lbs per gallon, so 50 pounds give or take.

This depends on the type of decor, tank structure, and the water's weight of eight pounds per gallon. The water alone weighs 40 pounds. The tank itself can weigh around 15 pounds. The gravel and/or decor can weigh about ten pounds. Overall, the total weight is approximately 65 pounds.
