Special eye drops like Eye-Heal or Newton Homeopathics Eye Irritation are good treatments. If you want to go the home remedy route, a drop of cod-liver oil can be applied every 4 hours directly to the eye. If none of the above suggestions work, consult your vet as this may indicate a more serious problem.

Usually a medicine will be prescribed for the canine's eye infection. You should always get a prescription, though, and not just buy over the counter.

Well, the best way for that is to have him taken to a vet. But if you're out of the way and have only basic stuff like tee bags. It will help after letting it cool down then rub the eye gently.

You will get some eye drops for the eyes from the vet. It will need to be diagnosed by the vet first and foremost. The vet will turn the light out and shine it in their eyes. Putting the drops in the eyes are a challenge in themselves also no dog likes to be held down for this.
