What is the Statue of Liberty song?

I have never heard of it but a friend said there was one.

The Statue of Liberty Song is song that is based on the words that are inscribed on the base of the statue. These lyrics were written by Mrs. Barbara Silberg.

yes, it is a song which was sung to pay tribute to it; but it was banned due to a phrase saying 'i move beneath your skirt'.

There was a statue of liberty song that was recorded by XTC in the 1970's. It was then banned by the BBC because of the lyrics "n my fantasy I sail beneath your skirt," which at the time was a very risque statement to make. It was written by Allen Partridge
