Falabellas are generally measure two to three feet tall at the withers. They still have the same proportions as any other horse and are not considered ponies despite their small size. They can weigh between 50 and 100 lbs. One of the smallest on record was only 30 lbs, and only twenty inches tall.

Generally the Falabella is around 32 inches or eight hands tall. They are a breed of miniature horse and are not considered a pony.

No more than eight hands- average height between 28 to 34 inches at the wither (base of neck/ top of shoulder) when full grown.
