The bite of a deer tick carrying Lyme disease will often cause a bulls-eye discoloration of the skin. Therefore, it is important that you make an appointment with your doctor within the first 48 hours after being bitten. Your doctor can test for the Lyme virus and begin appropriate treatment.

A bullseye bug bite could occur for many different reasons. The bite could have come from a spider or it could be a symptom of Lyme disease caused by a tick. If the bite becomes bothersome or does not go away you might want to call the doctor.
