The safe tempature to set your refrigerator on is at a 5. This keep everything in there cold, but not frozen. My temperature can be turned up to a 9, which can freeze some of your food and make your drinks slushy. You don't want things to get frozen in your refigerator.

Your refrigerator should have a temperature of about from 34 to 40 degrees. If the temperature is 41 degrees or more then food can spoil due to bacterial growth. In warm weather, it is important not to open and close the door of the refrigerator too much because the temperature will increase.
