These are usually included with the wedding invitations. Something like "A reception to follow the nuptials at XYZ reception hall at... address".

Wording for a wedding reception can be formal or informal. A simple sample would be: The pleasure of your company is requested at the reception (Date) (time) (Address)

If you were married at a previous date and the invites are going out separate you can say you were married in a small ceremony on such and such date.
