These plants can tolerate light that is bright but indirect. As these plants tend to get large outside, using less than great light might keep them at a reasonable size. Water it well when it approaches complete dryness. Then do not water again until your finger inserted in the soil a good inch comes out dry.

Elephant ear is a type of philodendron, so they need to be watered only when the soil in the pot is dry. Keep the plant in an area which gets plenty of light, yet out of the direct sun. The air surrounding the plant should not be too dry. Keep the leaves clean and free of dust.

It is kind of difficult to answr are those the opnly plants you have ok if not the same things won't work for all plants. The best thing you can do is talk to your local greenhouse about it they will be able to tell you what you need to do right away.

Elephant ear plants are hardy and will do well in many environments. If you want to spoil it, give it a weak dose of fertilizer in well drained soil and put it in a sunny window.
