These trees are pretty easy to raise as they are not bothered by shearing and pruning very much. Make sure you plant it where it will get the most amount of sunlight. This is one tree that you will not want to over water, because that will lead to diseases that are a pain to get rid of.

All willows need lots and lots of water. They need lots of room to spread their roots, and they need to be able to send their roots deep enough to support them physically in their moist, unstable soil environment. Do not let the ground under the Willow completely dry out.

These trees enjoy a rich soil so be sure to fertilize it in the early spring. Make sure that you get the fertilizer down before you see growth on the tree. Als, these trees take very well to pruning and sheering. It actually encourages new growth. The tree likes a moist enviorment but too much water will effect the leaves.
