Check for a label on your curtains, because some tencel fabrics are dry clean only. If that is the case with your curtains, you know what you need to do. If they are washable, use a warm wash with a cold rinse. Dry on medium heat or permanent press setting. There might be a slight shrinkage.

The best way to clean tencel fabric is by dry cleaning. Go by the manufacturer's suggestion to wash because some tencel fabric will do well being hand washed and allow to drip dry.

Launder on gentle cycle in a washing machine with mild detergent and medium warm water. Drip dry. Tencel can melt under hot iron! Test corner of fabric for bleeding first. If lined, you may have to dry clean them due to the fabric liner, which may shrink.

It can be cleaned with vinegar. But you can also use tide. They can be machine washed if necessary. Be very careful in terms of what detergent you use. You don't want to mess with the fabric at all. And please dry them by hanging them. Do not place in dryer.
