What is the maximum you have to weigh before you can't skateboard?

Is there a maximum weight?

190 lbs is fine, I'm around 185 or something and it's not an issue. Weight doesn't really matter that much. And if it turns out that decks snap too easily you can try a deck with a carbon fiber insert.

There is no max weight required to skateboard. However, If you are too small and have fragile bones, chances of broken bones dramatically increase. If you skateboard regularly there is almost no chance to avoid falls, they will happen, it's part of the sport.

It is pretty much up to your ability to stay on the skateboard. If you can balance yourself and the skateboard is rolling, you are fine. If you are not able to stay on, you probably weigh too much. It is all up to you.

While not proven, the guess that most professionals would make would be that the maximum weight that a skateboard can support would be around three hundred pounds.
