The life span of a domestic rabbit in a hutch is between 4 and 5 years. The average wild rabbit has a much shorter life span due to environmental stresses.

Unfortunately, the average is only about two years. Rabbits really like to be around other rabbits and people and they do get bored and scared. They are gentle, loving creatures and are better off inside with you, there they can live from seven to ten years with good care.

Well, it all depends on the health, the area outside and the hutch mostly. It needs a sunny but shaded area. It needs good health. And then there is the hutch. it needs to bee a good 6 by 3 by 3 foot hutch and it would live 5-8 years.
