The Latin word for "evil" is "malum". Malum is defined as an evil, wrongdoing, crime, or injustice. The plural would be "mala". The word is often used as a legal term (malum in se) defining certain offense that are inherantly wrong or evil suh as murder.

The Latin word for evil can be malus, -a, -um or improbus, -a, -um, both of which are first and second declension adjectives. To translate the adjective correctly, you need to know what the case number, and gender of the word it modifies.
