Odysseus (Latin: Ulysses) was the son of Laertes. Odysseus ruled Ithaca and was one of the prominent Greek leaders of the Trojan War. He was clever and eloquent, and the hero of Homer's "Odyssey." Odysseus was one of the suitors of Helen of Troy.
