The church of christ is a splinter group from the 1800s when calvinism became popular. They split from the main group of belivers and formed this group that is still going strong today. There beliefs are preaty much in line with the lutherns as far as the baptism thru salvation goes.

The Church of Christ United is a Christian denomination which is an outcome during the Restorationaist movement started by Alexander Campbell in the nineteenth century.
