The effect of film on the eye is blurriness. You may have some discomfort try a cool wet wash cloth some eye drops and maybe medical preofessional exam for any possible debris. You may have prescription drops to prevent infection. Keep the closed for quick healing and too meet comfort measures.

Watching a film may effect the eye sight, one should not watch the TV/Movie contiuously for morethan 45 minutes. If anyone watch the TV for longer hours his sight may get effected badly might get effected to the greater extent and finally end-up landing in eye-sight.
