What is the difference between online courses and traditional classroom learning?

It takes a lot of discipline and organization to succeed in an online course because they are mainly done over the internet. You do not have anyone to remind you when something is due, or to answer your questions. There is more social interaction with traditional classroom learning.

Online courses can be done at home and you only have to meet with your instructor once a week. Traditonal classroom learning have to be done in an actual school.

Online courses require to get registered online on the internet and attend lectures online and also submit quiz, assignments and everything online. In online learning one can do everything from his/her computer. While classroom courses require to get admitted into a school, college, or university and attend lectures by going there.

Online courses are for those that can stay determined to do the work and also can teach themselves. Traditional classroom learning is great because you have the teacher for any questions that you may want to ask. Depending on which style of learning you prefer, both are great methods.
