If you're attracted to him, then you just want to be near him and be seen with him because he's good looking. If you loved him, you probably wouldn't care what he looked like. Your attraction to him wouldn't change if his appearance changed. In other words, love is blind.

Attraction is purely a physical thing. It will fizzle with time. Love is an enduring feeling and goes beyond skin deep beauty.
