Coke Zero is like diet coke in that it has less sugar than normal coke but its made to taste more like real coke. Diet coke has less sugar but also has a watery blander taste.

Coke Zero is the same formula as regular Coke only sweetened with Nutrasweet and acesulfame potassium (Ace-K). Diet Coke has a different formula from the get-go and is sweetened with Nutrasweet only, no Ace-K. Some people think that the formula for Diet Coke is the same as New Coke, but this is not confirmed by the company.

Coke Zero and Diet Coke are both diet versions of the same soda, Coca Cola. Coke Zero was created for those consumers that like the taste of regular Coke. Diet Coke has a different taste that consumers have grown to love. The funny thing is that both are made with different amounts of the same ingredients.
