The order of the New Testament is as follows: Chronologically, Paul's letters comes first. There are 13 of these. Paul was a Christian convert who wrote in the 50s-60s. After this come the Gospels. Mark, Matthew and Luke are the Synoptic Gospels, written in the 70s and 80s. John's Gospel comes last, at around 85-90.

The Thessalonians letters were written about 57AD. Romans, I & II Corinthians, and Galatians anywhere from 60 to 64AD. Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians shortly after when St. Paul was imprisoned in Rome. Not everyone agrees on the dates but it all was written after the death of Jesus Christ and before the death of St. John about 96AD.
