There is no "cure" per se for chlamydia, however, once contracted there are antibiotics available for treatment such as: doxycycline, ofloxacin and erythromycin - it is important to seek treatment immediately once chlamydia detected, as non-treatment of the disease can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, liver disease - or in extreme cases, sterilization.

The only treatment for Chlamydia infection is with antibiotics. The doctor will prescribe Oflaxacin, Levofloxacin or Erythromycin for a week. It is advised you have your partner treated for it.

If you have chlamydia, you need to go to the doctor to get prescription antibiotics! Since it can cause problems (like PID) you gotta do it right away, too.

chlamydia is usually treated with antibiotics for 7 to 10 days. but for those that may have difficulty remembering to take a pill everyday for they can opt for the more exspensive sinlgle dose antibiotic treatments oflaxacion, levofloxacin, and erythromycin. also while going through treatment you should refrain from sex or use condoms so you do not spread it.
