A child grows very quickly and the best thing to do is go back to your optometrist and have the professional look at the way your childs glasses fit. Ill fitting glasses will make a child not want to wear them.

By taking your child to the right eye doctor, they can determine what is best for him or her. They will find the correct frames and adust them to fit their face just right. They usually do this by adjusting the nose pieces but your doctor knows best.

The best way to do it is to go to the company that's making the glasses and make sure thet your child gets measured. Usually this is done by default as glasses are made to fit for the person who is recieving them but sometimes with reading glasses they don't fit so just talk to the manafacturer.

My four year old has been wearing glasses since 15 months. The glasses should not slide forward easily on the child's nose, meaning the leg of the frame should bend right behind the ear. The nose pieces should fit the nose when the glasses are pushed up.
