It depends on the variety. Many coffees have between 100 and 200 milligrams of caffeine. Teas vary more widely, with iced teas containing up to 30 milligrams of caffeine and some hot teas containing up to 100 milligrams of caffeine, though not all varieties contain this much.

Caffeine content in brewed tea is approximately 40 milligrams. Brewed coffee is roughly douple that at 80 milligrams, but can be even more at 120 milligrams depending on the brand.
