Every place that I put my piano blocks something or makes it appear to take up the entire room.

Put the piano against a wall so while you're playing you are facing either a wall or window. That way you'll get the most sound out of it.

You are probably going to need to rearrange ALL OF YOUR FURNITURE. Put the piano on a large wall. It will offset some of the size.

Consider putting the piano against the farthest wall, or better yet place it diagnolly from a window so the room seems more open.

The best way to place a piano is to first pick which room you would like it in. Then decide which way you would like the piano to face.
