What is the best way for me to go about introducing two male cats?

I want to make sure they get along, because they are going to be roommates soon.

It is going to be very difficult to introduce two male cats. If they are intact I would unfortunately reccomend neutering them. It will be next to impossible to introduce two intact males, they will never get along. There will always be some period of urine marking as the two fight for territory and there could be physical fighting.

Buy two crates with viewing wire. Put one male in each. Place crates in same room at some distance. Watch carefully. Slowly move crates nearer each other. Do this for two or three days. If they will ever be friendly, it will be now and they can be released. If you have instilled enough boredom, all will be well.

You can start off by locking one up in a kennel and putting the other in front of the door. They will sniff each other for a while. After they do that then you can let the cat out of the cage and let them interact.
