Rehearsal dinner invitations should reflect the formality of the rehearsal dinner. A verbal invitation is sufficient for a casual BBQ. For a formal dinner, however, the invitation should be very similar to the invitation to the actual wedding. Be sure to let you guests know 3-4 weeks in advance so that they can plan accordingly.

As with all other sorts of invitations pertaining to a wedding, they should be addressed by hand. (Remember, they should be sent with a return-addressed and stamped envelope, so the invitee does not have to find an envelope and a stamp in order to reply. )

Address them to Mr. & Mrs. John Doe. If the person is not married address it to Ms. or Mr.

You are invited to the rehearsal dinner to be held on mm/dd/yy at time and location for the upcoming wedding of bridge and groom. Being direct is always best.
