Just because your getting older dose not mean that your teeth have to show it. There are simple way to prevent your teeth from yellowing. Brush your teeth regularly with a whitening tooth paste. Don't drink coffee or tea or other liquids that will stain your teeth over time like red wine or soda.

The most common things that cause yellowing of the teeth are sodas, tea, coffee and smoking. If you do any of these you are going to have a higher chance of yellowing. You can chew gum and brush often to help.

Do not smoke or chew tobacco. Also avoid drinking coffee, soda, juices, and other dark acidic liquids. Teeth do become yellow and is sometimes unavoidable as you age.

Some people are just predisposed to have more yellow looking teeth. You can however be very diligent about dental cleanings, use a whitening tooth paste and periodically use a whitener that is sold in drug stores. If all else fails, contact your dentist and inquire about teeth bleaching.

Avoid smoking, drinking large amounts of coffee and tea. Be sure to drink plenty of water, especially after consuming dark colored foods. Brush and floss at least twice daily and visit your dentist regularly. There are many whitening gums that can be used during the day to prevent foods from sticking to your teeth, if a toothbrush is not readily available.

Using a soft brush and not using regular toothpaste. Baking soda is a good alternative. Swish your mouth after meals and floss if needed. Also a diet rich in fresh raw fruits and vegetables will also help.
