You could do an online. For example you have a liver enzyme study done in search put Liver enzyme test and results. This will pull up many different areas to search results or go to a medical teaching site to look up answers.

You should talk to the physician that ordered these tests. He/she should be able to explain what they mean, and in relation to your health. Continue to ask your physician questions until the explanation makes sense to you. It is your health and money, and you deserve to understand it all.

The first and best choice is to call the doctor who prescribed the tests. They will be able to advise you on any actions to take; if they were treating you, they need that information. Another option is to call the nurse line for your health insurance and ask for an explanation.
