Stanley Home Products Silver Polish is the best. Instead of being a paste it is an easy to use liquid. It doesn't gum up on the product I'm trying to clean. You simply put the cleaner on a cloth and then wipe it off. Also it does not damage my hands while using it.

One way to clean tarnished silver is to make a cleansing dip. First line the bottom of a glass dish with aluminum foil. Pour hot water, baking soda, and salt together into the dish. Place tarnished silver into the mixture and wait until it appears clean. Alternatively, you can use toothpaste and warm water to gently buff away tarnishing.

White tooth paste. Rub some on your finger and rub it on your silver. You can use baking soda and water (make it into a paste) and rub it. If the silver is badly tarnished you should leave the baking soda and water paste on there for a little while then rinse off and wipe with a clean cloth.

If its a jewelry sometimes you just have to use a soap for the plate.Put it on a water with the soap in a plastic bottle then shake it then after that use a clean cloth to polish it.I already use it and it works.

The best cleaner for silver is toothpaste. Just use a tooth brush a scrub it, leave it on for a few minutes and rinse.

Try Nevr-Dull (it has an odd spelling, but pronounced Never Dull). It comes in a navy blue can and looks like cotton.
